Diana Lake Backcountry Ski Feb 21 to 25, 2022

Backcountry AT ski trip. Heli into Diana Lake cabin and valley South of Golden for 4 days. Cold but generally sunny. New boot top powder on solid base. Nice addition this year was a sauna building. Link to pics

Exercise – hockey 2x / week, workouts and dog walking. Note very cold weather from mid Dec to mid Jan. Downhill skiing and skinning practice. Nakiska, Sunshine(Wietse), Marmot(Rick). Uphill practice at fish creek, battalion park and prairie.
